Studies on the adsorption of bacterial substance to red cells

Abstract
The kind and formalin treatment of red cells did not give any influence to the adsorption of bacterial substance.
The bacterial substance was adsorbed to red cells at cold and warm temperature and there was a limit to the adsorption degree of bacterial substance.
The electrolytes were necessary for adsorbing of bacterial substance to red cells and,in non-electrolyte¢¥s, the bacterial substance was soon eluted from sensitized red cells. At this time, the temperature and aeration did not give any influence to the elution of bacterial substance.
The suspending fluids of bacteria did not show any influence to the extraction of effective bacterial substance.
The bacterial substance could again adsorb to the sensitized red cell from which the bacterial substance is already eluted.
